La Habra CA June 25, 2014 — It wouldn’t be a year in northwest Orange County without one of the Summer’s favorite events, the La Habra Corn Festival. The 3 day festival is sure to be a highlight for summer 2014 fun here in Orange County, California.
2014 marks the 66th consecutive year for this traditional event that brings thousands of hungry folks to the city of La Habra for the Corn Festival Parade, food, live music, carnival rides and attractions, game and craft booths, a market place, Miss La Habra and her court, a raffle drawing for a car and, as always, lots and lots of corn.
Fondly reminiscent of past La Habra corn festivals, this year will once again be a place to enjoy pleasant smells, delicious food, favorite rides, make new friends, reconnect with old ones and maybe win the grand prize in the raffle, a 1966 Ford Mustang.
The 2014 La Habra Corn Festival will be held August 1, 2 and 3. Festivities kick off on Friday night in El Centro Park. The 2014 La Habra Corn Festival Parade is on Saturday, August 2, starting at 9:30AM. Food and fun continue through Sunday, August 3, culminating with the raffle drawing.
