For those seeking traditional American mid-western style breakfast fare, the good news is, Arthur’s Coffee Shop in La Habra California.
All decked out in vintage style red-checkered tablecloths (sometimes), look no further than Arthur’s for one of those big, filling, good ol’ American breakfasts that are getting harder and harder to find in Southern California. Thanks to Arthur’s, there is still a choice for breakfast. Instead of settling for fast food breakfasts or fast food breakfasts or Fast Food Breakfasts, you can have bacon and eggs, ham and eggs, sausage and eggs, steak and eggs, just eggs (with home fries or hash browns), a short stack of golden pancakes, a tall stack of golden pancakes, French toast, waffles, corned-beef hash or just about anything else you prefer.
Arthur’s Coffee Shop has been around just about forever and hopefully will be around a lot longer. It used to be my second favorite place in La Habra to have a hearty breakfast. Then someone had a really bright idea and tore down the historic Hacienda Coffee Shop to make way for yet another drug store. Thankfully, we still have Arthur’s located in La Habra just off the intersection of Harbor Blvd., and La Habra Blvd.
